1.- Our prices include:
All services that are specifically mentioned in each itinerary in regular mode. Prices do not include taxes and are subject to change without prior notice until the client pays in full for the contracted services.
2.- Our prices DO NOT include:
Visa fees – Passport processing fees – Personal tips, such as to guides, drivers, bellboys, etc. Transfers where they are not specified – Excess luggage – Airport taxes and/or Entrance fees to National Parks, Natural or Fauna Reserves not specified in the itinerary – Extras of any kind or expenses that are not duly specified in the itineraries. 3.-Reservations
All reservations will be subject to confirmation until full receipt of full payment for services. If a specific agreement has been reached between the company and the client, the reservation may be confirmed with a partial payment of 50% for packages with standard category hotels and 100% for packages with superior and luxury category hotels. . However, the balance must be paid before the start of services.
Payments for our services can only be made as indicated in our payment methods. Once the reservation of the tourist package is confirmed to the client by means of an e-mail with a confirmation code, it will be guaranteed, except for cancellation for reasons stated under the title of responsibilities which are totally unrelated to the company.
Hotel confirmations are subject to availability; if there is no space in the selected hotel, you will be given another one of similar category and price.
Regarding cancellations, returns and money refunds, these will be regulated by the terms and conditions.
If the trip has to be shortened or extended due to fortuitous reasons or force majeure not attributable to the company, the expenses caused by this situation will be exclusively borne by the clients.
The prices offered are net prices, the commission for the use of Magnetic media (credit or debit card) does not apply, consult the commission percentage; costs for national or international bank transfers; commissions for collection of other payment methods.
4.- Cancellations and modifications:
On behalf of the company: SALKANTAY WAY. reserves the right to cancel the tour with justification in the following circumstances:
Acts of force majeure. The total amount received up to that point will be refunded, deducting the costs of the banking transaction carried out and the corresponding administrative costs, as well as any cancellation charges for prepaid services, if any.
On the part of the client: All cancellations and voluntary changes in contracted programs must be notified in writing to SALKANTAY WAY.
For early cancellations and/or voluntary changes in contracted programs, the applicable costs, after deducting the percentage corresponding to the providers and administrative expenses, will be the following:
Between 45 and 31 days before 25%,
30 and 15 days before 50%,
from 14 and 7 days before 75%,
Less than 7 days before 100%
Tickets to Machu Picchu and all Circuits, Inca Trail to Machu Picchu DO NOT APPLY REFUNDS OR MODIFICATIONS, so if there is any modification or cancellation these tickets will not be returned and the date cannot be changed. see more restrictions.
In the event that the voluntary cancellation/change in contracted programs is made more than 45 days in advance, only administrative expenses and, if applicable, the penalty corresponding to the airline(s) and other contracted services will be charged.
In the case of long weekends, Easter tours, high season, Christmas and New Year tours, regardless of how far in advance the services are canceled, there will be non-refundable amounts.
Once the service has begun, the provisions for the voluntary cancellation and withdrawal of services will apply.
Passengers who voluntarily desist from using any service included in the tour program will not have the right to demand any refund for said services. There is no refund for any unused services, including transfers, excursions and hotel reservations.
5.- Claims:
– Any claim that you wish to make must be directed, within 10 days of the end of the trip or the event that motivated it, to the following email address: reclamos@salkantayway.com
After this period, no claim will be received.
6.- Documentation:
It is the sole and exclusive responsibility of each passenger to have all the documentation in order for the trip. The passenger must be provided with a valid passport and the required visas according to the chosen itinerary. Failure to comply with the above by the client will cause the loss of the right to any refund. The consequences of its omission and the expenses that arise as a result will be borne by the traveler. The same will occur when the authorities of any country refuse to allow the passenger to enter.
7.- Responsibilities:
Reservations are accepted with the understanding that they appreciate the possible risks inherent in adventure travel and that they undertake the visits, excursions or expeditions, contained in our programs, at their own will. It’s also important to understand that the most meticulous arrangements can go wrong.
SALKANTAY WAY is obliged to provide its services with the necessary diligence, so that the entire trip goes perfectly, we will strive to serve you as best as possible.
SALKANTAY WAY, does not assume any responsibility for force majeure, weather phenomena or natural phenomena that may occur before or during the trip, or for any eventuality that may make any trip uncomfortable or difficult, or for any delay or obstruction of your trip in any way. way and does not guarantee failure on the part of the company.
8.- Customer acceptance of payments
The client declares that he knows and accepts these general contracting conditions and said acceptance is ratified by any of the following acts:
Partial or total payment of the services contracted before the start of the trip, by any form or modality.
Acceptance of the invoice for the contracted services.
By using a portion of any of the contracted services.

9.- Air Tickets (not included)
Air ticket prices and fares are subject to availability and change without prior notice until they have been issued. The schedules, itineraries, flight numbers and times of these tickets are subject to change up to the date of travel by the airline.
All airline ticket reservations will be subject to confirmation until full payment for the tickets has been received and the tickets have been issued. The service operator may modify the current conditions without prior notice.
SALKANTAY WAY is exempt from all liability that may arise for changes in the travel date, cancellations or modifications that the airline may make to the scheduled trip, where the travel agency is only an entity issuing the air tickets, but It is not related to the provision of the service. For more information on cancellation and refund policies, you can request us from the same airline with which the air ticket was issued.
10.- Train Transportation Service (not included)
Train ticket prices and fares are subject to availability and change without notice until they have been issued. The schedules, itineraries and schedules of these tickets are subject to change until the date of travel by the train operating company.
All train ticket reservations will be subject to confirmation until full payment for the tickets has been received and the tickets have been issued. Tickets issued for the train transportation service will be refunded according to the policies of the railway company, as long as they allow it and within the established deadlines.
SALKANTAY WAY is not responsible for the operations in the service contracted with the railway company in this way, any situation that arises from the beginning of the service until the end of the service on the acquired route will be the responsibility of the railway company.
Any extra consumption not clearly specified as included will have to be paid directly by the passenger and will be solely the responsibility of the passenger and the train operator for any unpaid consumption.
